The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region have commenced the 30th anniversary celebration of the party with a massive cleanup exercise in all constituencies in the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis.
The cleanup exercise was also used to commemorate the 43rd anniversary of the June 4 uprising, and the memorial day of the founder of the party, late Jerry John Rawlings.
The NDC will be 30 years on June 10, 2022 and with that the leadership of the party have lined up several activities to mark the anniversary.
Present at the cleanup exercise was the founding member of the party, Totobi Quakyi, chairman of the party in the region; Nana Toku, the regional communications officer; Richard Kirk Mensah, other regional and constituency executives of the party and supporters.
