Sompa FM, a new radio station in Kumasi has unveiled its star-studded sports crew.
The new sports team were unveiled to the public on the station’s flagship morning show dubbed Ade Akye Abia host by Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye on Friday, June 24, 2022.
The team comprise of Collins Clancy Atta Poku; an astute sportscaster who double as a University lecturer.
Before joining Sompa FM, Atta Poku was with Wontumi Radio and has formerly worked at Metro FM and Kessben FM all in Kumasi.
Jeffery Asare, another ace sports broadcaster who has formerly worked with Kessben FM and Silver FM has also joined the Sompa FM sports team alongside Martin Luther King.
Others include; enterprising sports analyst Michael Akomeah Gyamfi popularly known as the Sports Messiah formerly with Otec FM.
Former Empire FM in Takoradi and Kumasi-based Silver FM knowledgeable sportscaster, Michael Asare Boadu was also unveiled among the Sompa FM sports team as well as former Wontumi Radio employee Abou Diaby.
The team will commence show on July 4, 2022 from 6:00am -7:00am, 9:30-12noon and 3:00-4:00PM on weekdays and 9:30am-12noon on Saturdays.
