Former President of the Republic of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings has tweeted his condolence to the New Patriotic Party [NPP] over the demise of Joseph Henry Mensah, a founding member of the party.
‘‘My sincere condolences to the NPP and the family of J.H. Mensah for their loss. He left an indelible mark on Ghana’s politics. May his soul rest in peace” he said in his tweet.
The demise of the veteran politician occurred on Thursday 12th July, 2018 at age 89.
J.H Mensah born on the 31st October 1928 at Sekondi in the Western region was a founding member of the governing New Patriotic Party and served in three different ministerial positions under the John Agyekum Kufuor administration.
