Asante Kotoko have announced new leadership structure for the club ahead of the 2022/23 season.
Richard ‘Agadas’ Boadu who joined the Porcupine Warriors last season from Medeama sc have been named the new captain of Asante Kotoko.[ads2]
Boadu takes over from Abdul Ganiyu who per reports is on his way out of the club after requesting for termination of his contract.

Richard Boadu will be assisted by by defender Yusif Mubarik as 1st deputy Captain, Black Galaxies goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim as 2nd deputy captain, with right back Christopher Nettey and Cameroonian shot- stopper Moise Pouaty acting as 3rd & 4th deputy captain’s respectively.[ads4]
Asante Kotoko will play Sudanese giants Al Hilal in an lnternational friendly on Tuesday night and play against them again on Friday before taking on Simba sc from Tanzania on Sunday as part of their pre-season training.
