Simba Sporting Club were beaten in the grand finale of the 2018 Cecafa-Kagame Cup by 2:1 by arch rivals Azam Football Club at the National Stadium in Tanzania.
The heated encounter saw Ghanaian duo James Kotei and Nicholas Gyan showcasing enough brilliancy but all efforts were fruitless.
Shaban Idd Chilunda opened the scoreline for Azam FC in the first half but Simba came in strong in the second half and got the equalizer through Meddie Kagere.
However, Aggrey Morris Ambrosi netted the winner for coach Hans van-der Pluijm side to clinch the trophy for the second time.
