Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have been given a huge boost with the return of four key players for CAF Champions League clash against RC Kadiogo.[ads2]
The four players are Franck Mbella, Georges Mfegue, Maxwell Agyemang and Patrick Asmah.
The quartet missed the team’s preseason campaign in Sudan due to injury but reports indicate that they have return to training in Accra and will be available for RC Kadiogo trip.[ads3]
The return of Franck Mbella and Georges Mfegue give huge strength to the Asante Kotoko attack that also boast of Steven Mukwala from Uganda while Maxwell Agyemang and Patrick Asmah solidify the defence.
Coach Seydou Zerbo and his charges will leave Ghana for the Ivory Coast on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 for the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Burkinabe outfit RC Kadiogo at the Stade de Yamoussoukro.[ads4]
According to the Asante Kotoko itinerary for the cagey encounter in the West African country, the team will depart Ghana on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
Before leaving for Ivory Coast, the team will be training in Accra and fly to Abidjan on Wednesday before continuing by road to Yamoussoukro for the game slated for Friday, September 9, 2022.[ads5]
