Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey has officially announced his readiness to play for Ghana ahead. Of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.[ads2]
The 21-year old right-back has been a long-standing target for Ghana as the country strengthen squad for the mundial in the Arabian country in November this year.
Having played at the junior sides of the English national teams, Tariq Lamptey was hoping to get a call-up to the senior England national team but all efforts have been fruitless.[ads3]
But in a video, Lamptey declared that he is now ready to play for Ghana with barely two months to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Tariq Lamptey has been handed a debut call-up to the Black Stars for two friendly matches against South Africa and Nicaragua in this month which will serve as preparations for the World Cup.[ads4]
Ghana will face Brazil at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre in France on September 23 before playing Nicaragua at the Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Spain on September 27, 2022.
