The Electricity Company of Ghana says it is working assiduously to resolve all the technical problems affecting the purchase of power in the Ashanti Region.[ads2]
There was a technical problem that the company encountered few days ago which disrupted the purchase of power in the country.
But the company announced on October 1 that all problems have been resolved except that of the Ashanti Region.[ads3]
In a statement on Tuesday, October 4, the company has said that works to stabilize power purchase in the region have reached the apex and very soon the people in the Ashanti Region will be able to purchase power with ease.
“Please this is to inform you that the meters which were not stable, including the Nuri and Clou meters, are now vending smoothly except for a few others which are slow in some areas.[ads4]
“We are currently working on stabilizing those in the Ashanti Region and then activating the mobile App which has currently been deactivated.
“All 3rd Party Vending points are fully operational. We already have in place a Help Desk to assist these 3rd Party Vendors who are having challenges with the appropriate firewall and other information to enable them to send without any hitch”, the statement reads…[ads5]
