Hasaacas Ladies head coach, Yusif Basigi has heralded his players after an amazing victory against Berry Ladies in the week one of the Ghana Women’s Premier League.
The former league champions defeated Berry Ladies 1:0 at the Gyandu Park in Sekondi on Saturday, October 8 to mark an impressive start to the league season
Speaking to Kyfilla.com after the game, coach Yusif Basigi admitted that Berry Ladies gave his side a tough opposition but was confident they will sail through after the ninety minutes.

He noted that his side is in a rebuilding process and it will take time for them to congeal.[ads3]
“I will say that the performance was good today because our preseason was tough and this is virtually a new side that we are building so cohesion, adaptation of the new players will take time”, he said..
“Our preseason results were not the best, we were struggling, so for the ladies to put together such a performance, I will say they did very well. I will need two more matches to access the strength of all the teams.[ads4]
On whether his side will be able to top the southern zone table at the end of the league season, coach Yusif Basigi said “Faith Ladies are a good side and I will want to watch their first three matches and that of my team plus other teams to have a fair accessement of all the teams in the zone”[ads2]
“My new signings will start to jeel together by week three when they find thier rhythm everybody will see the qualities in them. I have a lot of trust and believe in them to perform very well and I know they will live up to expectation ”
Meanwhile, coach Yusif Basigi will be traveling to Germany this evening to commence training programme put together by the Ghana FA as part of the association’s refresher course package for three local coaches.
