Ghanaian defender Nicholas Opoku has revealed that his stint with Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio will be a short-term after putting pen to paper for the 1896 team.
According to the dependable defender, he wants to play at the highest level of club football and Udinese is a starting point for him.
Speaking to Kumasi based Fox FM, the former Berekum Chelsea center-back revealed that coach Julio Velázquez is excited about his performance in the preseason and he’s ready for the commencement of the league season.
“Am happy to sign for Udinese and am ready for the league season.The coach is happy about my performances so far in the preseason”, he said.
Nicholas Opoku signed a four-year-deal for the Italian Serie A side from Tunisian giant Club Africain on a fee of 1.5 million euros.
