Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has explained why he failed to perform for the Hogbetsotso festival in the Volta region.[ads2]
The multiple award-winning artiste with arguably the loudest fan base in Ghana was billed to perform at the Eli Beach in Tegbi last Saturday but failed to show up.

His fans who waited and waited without him showing up were left disappointed, after five hours threw stones and empty bottles onto the stage as a way of expressing their disappointments in the musician.[ads3]
In a video, Shatta Wale has explained why he couldn’t show up for the event which was organised by Ebony Condoms and Onua TV despite the massive promotion.
