Member of Parliament for Assin South in the Central Region, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour has threatened to drag colleague MP, Murtala Mohammed to court.
Murtala Mohammed allegedly accused Rev.Fordjour has a fraudster on a live television program.
The two were panelists on TV3 ‘s New Day Morning Show discussing the upcoming midyear budget review when they wandered off to attack each other.
Rev.Fordjour first punched Murtala who was found of using unpalatable words on people with higher rank in the country.
The former deputy Trade Minister had labelled the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo as a liar for allegedly hawking falsehoods.
Murtala claimed that the the ruling NPP government are expert in misinforming the public citing an example that, the president earlier lied about deleting ghost names from the Controller and Accountant General’s list, saving Ghana millions of cedis but the Defence Minister later had to come out to correct things.
But Fordjour rebutted saying that the NDC are rather the moguls in terms of misinforming Ghanaians.
“He is using such unsavoury words on the president,” he said but later continued that he’s not surprised because Murtala has been using unpalatable words on even devoted members in his party.
Murtala Mohammed was later carried away and commented that the Assin South MP has been duping people in the country and he (Murtala) knows about it.
“I am not engaged in duping people” he thundered, stretching his hands as he points fingers at Rev. Ntim Fordjour who sat inches away, uttering, “you dupe people as a member of parliament, you dupe people you don’t know that? …Your issue with Sam George, you think I don’t know. No it’s true…you can dupe people.”
However, Rev.Fordjour ordered his colleague MP to withdraw the wide allegations or drags him to court but the former Member of Parliament for Nantong ignored and dare him to go to court.
