Black Galaxies assistant coach, Bismark Kobby Mensah has said the team is determined to win the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria which start on January 13.[ads2]
The Black Galaxies have returned to the competition for the first time since 2014 after several failed attempts to secure qualification.
Even though the team will be facing tough challenges, the former Karela United tactician believes the Black Galaxies have gotten enough preparations and have what it takes to win the trophy.[ads3]
“The plan is to win the trophy,” Kobby Mensah said in an interview as scribed by Ghanasoccernet.
“We have had good preparations but we humbly request Ghanaians to support the team in prayers and I know our target will be achieved,” he added.
Ghana will face Madagascar in first game of the tournament on January 15 before taking on Sudan four days later and play the last group game against defending Champions Morocco on January 23.[ads4]
All three matches will be played in the city of Constantine.[ads5]
