It was a demolishing exercise at the St Martin’s Park in Deboase in the Western region as Skyy FC dismantled Asokwa Deportivo by 8:0 in week fourteen of the ongoing division one league on Monday, February 6, 2023.[ads2]
The Daboase-based club showed enough muscles to whitewashed Deportivo to maintain their lead on the zone two table of the division one league in a game which was supposed to have been played on Sunday, February 5 but rescheduled for this morning after a heavy downpour.
It was a game Skyy FC dominated from the blast of the whistle till the end with former Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko midfielder Prince Acquah bossing the midfield for the home side in front of thousands of supporters.[ads3]
Former Tarkwa Barcelona attacker, Andrews Cobbinah netted four times to help Skyy FC secure the all-important victory.
Former Dreams FC youngster, Baba Amando Musa also scored twice before Paul Ennin and John Dadzie made it 8:0 for the home side.
Skyy FC are still sitting at the summit of the zone two table of the division one league with 34 points after fourteen matches, 5 points adrift second-placed Nations FC.[ads4]
