President Akufo-Addo has ranked himself higher than any presidents in Ghana’s history when it comes to road infrastructure.[ads2]
According to him, his administration since assuming office in 2016, has constructed more roads than any government since the fourth republic.
Delivering a state of the nation address in parliament on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, President Akufo-Addo said ,”Mr speaker, my government has built more roads than any government in history of the fourth republic.”[ads3]
He said that since taking over the mantle for former president John Dramani Mahama in 2016, his administration has constructed about 148 factories which is in line with his one district,one factory initiative.
On the IMF deal, President Akufo-Addo disclosed that government is on course to secure a bailout by the end of the month.
Among dignitaries present at the today’s state of the nation address are former presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama.[ads4]
