Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Legon Cities FC has said his outfit will never go on relegation despite the club’s recent poor run of results.
This comes after losing 3:2 to Bibiani Goldstars at the Duns Park in match-day 25 of the Ghana Premier League on Monday, April 3, 2023.
The defeat has pushed Legon Cities FC to the relegation zone and will remain there untill the league resumes after the Easter break.
Even though his outfit lost, Maxwell Konadu has praised his players for showcasing an impressive performance against Bibiani Goldstars and believe the team will survive relegation.
“We will [escape relegation]. Mark it on the wall. We will escape relegation.
“Proud of the performance of my boys today. They did well. This game was keenly contested. We gave our all but wasn’t enough sadly. We will keep fighting to escape relegation,” he said.
Legon Cities FC will continue their quest of escaping when they host Kotoku Royals at the El Wak Stadium in Accra on April 14, 2023…
