The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Sammi Awuku has hinted at the possibility of contesting for the Akropong parliamentary seat on the ticket of the NPP.
According to the former NPP national organiser, several Chiefs and Opinion Leaders in the area are convincing him to contest for the seat.
“There is a huge and considerable level of support from the chiefs and people of the Akropong constituency”, Mr Awuku said on Citi FM.
“There is an MP in the constituency, so I will have to start deep consultation. Before I make any decision, I will have to speak to some key leaders in government. I will support the party’s mobilisation drive,” he added.
