The Ministry of Roads and Highways through the Ghana Highway Authority has announced the temporarily closure of the Ewusiejo section of the Takoradi-Agona road on the N1 Highway.
According to the Ministry, the road will be completely closed to traffic for twelve hours from Saturday, May 13, 2023 to Sunday, May 14, 2023.
The closure is to enable the Ghana Highway Authority to carry out major repair works on the Butre River bridge at Ewusiejo near Takoradi.
“Motorists traveling between Takoradi to Agona Junction and beyond and vice versa are to note that no vehicle can access the bridge when the repair works are ongoing”, part of the statement reads.
