The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that its will commence another revenue mobilisation exercise from Monday, May 29 to Friday June 2, 2023.
This revenue mobilisation exercise, according to ECG, will focus on all categories of customers in arrears including State-owned Enterprises.
The exercise will be monitored by special teams who will apprehend and prosecute customers who will attempt to interfere with the exercise or undertake illegal self-reconnection after disconnection.
Pursuant to this exercise, ECG says it shall operate with lean staff pool who will provide essential services to customers during the revenue mobilisation period to enable total participation by top management and staff.
ECG says during the exercise all Customer Service Centres will remain opened to serve.
“Customers in arrears should please pay their bills now to avoid disconnection, and payment of reconnection fees”, part of their statement reads.
