Karela United FC have on Thursday announced the nominees for the 2023 Football Season’s Supporters Player of the Season Award.
The list includes Ebenezer Ocran, Emmanuel Owusu Boakye, Mohammed Humid Dafie, Abdul Kharim Ayeh, Evans Adomako Wiredu and Abdul Yaya Rahman.
Former Skyy FC midfielder, Ebenezer Ocran has gotten the nod after showing up well in his second campaign for Karela Utd and therefore is in line for the Supporters player of the 2022/23 season.
The midfielder who has had a wonderful season with the Aiyanase-based Club has made 24 appearance, with 3 assist and 1 MVP.
Midfielder Emmanuel Owusu Boakye made 25 appearance, scored 5 goals, with 8 assist and 3 Most Valuable Player Awards.
Defender Abdul Yaya Rahman made 21 appearance, scored 1 goal, with 1 assist and 2 Most Valuable Player Awards.
Mohammed Humid Dafie who joined the Pride and Passion some two seasons ago also made the cut with 28 appearances, 4 assist and 1 MVP.
Abdul Kharim Ayeh, a winger who has been on a blistering form this season join the list with 18 appearances, scored 2 goals with 6 assist and 3 MVP’S
Striker Evans Adomako Wiredu who joined Karela Utd on loan from Kotoko completed the list after making 20 appearances , scored 6 goals with 4 assist and MVP’S.
The winner will be voted by the supporters of the Club.
