“Nobody should blame David Duncan, no body should blame Umar Rabiu. They did a yeoman’s job, they started, I came in the half way, I just came and won the cup. They gathered some points and I also continued till the final day. So the congratulation is not for me alone, David Duncan is part, Umar Rabiu is part and even all the technical team, they are all part, is not me alone”.
Medeama sc is the third team from the Western Region to win the Ghana Premier League after Sekondi Eleven Wise and Sekondi Hasaacas won it in 1960 and 1977 respectively.
