Medeama Sporting Club on Thursday, June 15, 2023 will present the BetPawa Premier League title to the Anglo Gold Ashanti.
The league champions will meet the headline sponsors of the Club to formally present the trophy to them.
Medeama secured the title at the Akoon Park on the final day of the season following a 3-0 win over Tamale City FC.
It is Medeama SC’s first league title and means the Club has now won all local titles having previously secured two FA Cup titles in 2013 and 2015 and the FA Super Cup in 2015.
The triumph means Medeama become only the third Club in the Western Region to have won the coveted honor following successes of Sekondi Eleven Wise and Sekondi Hasaacas FC in the 1960 and 1977.
