The Second-Lady of the Republic of Ghana Madam Samira Bawumia has been honored in Abuja, Nigeria for his immense commitment towards the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The Second-Lady of the Republic was honored during a colorful ceremony hosted by the Ghana’s High Commission in Nigeria where she was also appointed as the ambassador by the World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation {WHAF}.
She was presented an award for her Global Excellence in Leadership, Humanitarian and her Philanthropic activities in the continent {Africa}.
The Second-Lady Samira Bawumia broke the news on her Instagram page expressing her delight about her newly handed ambassadorial role and what it entails
“I am honoured to be named the World Habitat Humanitarian Ambassador and to be awarded for Global Excellence in Leadership, Humanitarian and Philanthropic activities in Africa and Investiture by World Habitat Ambassadors Foundation (WHAF),” she wrote
