Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Bashiru Hayford has expressed interest in coaching the Black Queens of Ghana.
The Senior Female National team is currently without a substantive coach and he has indicated to coach the team has news circulating on the internet has been linking him to the job.
The experienced and outspoken head coach believes he’s ready to coach the team when given the chance.
“I have heard news linking me to the job, and I will be glad to be the coach of the Queens because when you acquire the knowledge, you have to impacts the knowledge” Bashiru Hayford told Takoradi based Spice FM in an interview.
“That’s not a problem, I can even massage them, when I was Tema Secondary School, I was massaging the ladies who were athletes, am a PE man, I did First Aid at Cape Coast University which I had A”, he added.
Black Queens managed to clinch the WAFU Women’s Cup in Ivory Coast some months ago under Mercy Tagoe who was serving as an acting coach.
