The former Real Tamale United midfielder Stephen Badu Dankwah signed by Georgian top-flight club Dila Gori FC on a free transfer and was announced on Friday, July 7, 2023.
The midfielder signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2025 after leaving the Northern Region-based club, Real Tamale United following his contract expiration.
Badu Dankwah had a phenomenal season with the Pride of the North in the just-ended Ghana Premier League campaign, scoring six goals in 29 games.

He also won three man of the match awards at the end of the GPL campaign. The Western Region-based team Medeama became the ultimate winners for the first time.
Midfielder Stephen Badu Dankwah became a target for many clubs following his outstanding performance last season.
FC Dila Gori beat off competition from other clubs to secure the midfielder. The club will announce the signing of the Ghanaian midfielder when visa issues are sorted.
