Bofoakwa Tano have shortlisted three coaches to take up the role of head coach at the club ahead of the start of the 2023/2024 season.
The Sunyani-based club gained promotion back to the Ghanaian top-flight after more than a decade in the Division One League.
Fuseini Abubakar guided the team to promotion to the Ghana Premier League. However, he is not qualified to be in the dugout for top-flight games because he does not hold a CAF A License certificate.
This means the club will have to appoint a qualified coach before the 2023/24 football season.
According to Kumasi-based Kessben FM, Bofoakwa Tano have shortlisted three coaches for the club’s coaching job ahead of the upcoming season.
Michael Osei, Bismark Kobi Mensah and Yaw Acheampong are on the three-man shortlist for the coaching job.
The former Black Meteors assistant coach is currently out of contract at Bibiani Goldstars and could be in line for Bofoakwa Tano’s job.
Bismark Kobi Mensah, on the other hand is currently jobless after leaving the Great Olympics. He has been replaced by Annor Walker.

Yaw Acheampong, a former Ghana international has been out of the system for sometime after leaving Medeama. He will look forward to returning to coaching next season.
