Ghana defender Alexander Djiku has joined Turkish giants Fenerbahçe on a three-year deal with an option to extend by a further year.
The experienced Black Stars defender has been signed on a free transfer after ending his stay in France where he played for Racing Strasbourg in the last few years.
Fans are eager to witness the impact Djiku will undoubtedly make in his new surroundings, as the countdown to his Fenerbahçe debut begins.
The new signing has been announced by Fenerbahce after the Black Stars defender passed his mandatory medicals on Monday morning.
“Fenerbahçe has recruited French-born Ghanaian national defender Alexander Djiku for 3+1 years.

“Our Manager Selahattin Baki and our Sporting Director Mario Branco also took part in the signing ceremony held at Ülker Stadium Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.

The Ghana defender immediately is expected to join his new teammates at Fenerbahçe to train as part of preparations for the 2023/24 football season.
