Ghanaian international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is close to making a comeback following a protracted absence due to a knee ligament injury.
He was unable to play in the second half of the 2022–23 football season as a result.
In February this year, ,the midfielder got injured whiles working out with his SC Freiburg teammates.

Kyereh updated his followers on his development via social media in a heartening post. He shared images from his rehabilitation sessions in Spain, namely Barcelona, and said that his path toward getting back on the field was progressing smoothly.
