Ghanaian international Ibrahim Sadiq proved his importance to BK Hacken again on Tuesday evening, helping the team beat The New Saints 2-0.
The club, often called TNS, hosted BK Hacken from the Swedish Allsvenskan in the second leg of the tie. This was in the qualifying round of the Uefa Champions League.
The Wales team lost the first leg in Sweden last week and hoped to capitalize on home advantage today to turn the tie around. Unfortunately, BK Hacken proved too strong to compete with.
Following a strong start to the game, the away side took the lead in the 19th minute. Ghanaian youngster Ibrahim Sadiq equalized with a fine strike.
Having managed the game very well, BK Hacken scored a second and final goal in injury time of the second half through Momodou Sonko. This sealed a 2-0 win.
The victory sent BK Hacken through to the next round of UCL qualification via a 5-1 aggregate.
