Senegalese-American singer Akon made a surprising revelation as he picked a favorite between two of the greatest active African musicians, Davido and Burna Boy.
Featured on the Drink Champs podcast co-hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, Akon was asked to choose between Davido and Burna Boy. Without wasting time, he picked Davido.
Akon said his choice of Davido was because he is a “beast.”
He said the singer of the song ‘Unavailable’ deserves more recognition than he receives.
He said, “Oh! I will probably stick with Davido. Oh! David, that kid is a beast. He is the beast.
“He is another one I think deserves more flowers than he’s received.”
