Top Rappers from the African continent have merged up with world’s influential Hip Hop figures in New York to mark August 10th day set aside to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the genre.
Hennessy has put together global icons to mark Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary at New York City, a place believed to be the birth of the music genre.
Ghana’s M.anifest and South Africa’s A-Reece are among the tall list put together by Hennessey at New York to mark the 50th Anniversary.
It is widely believed that the genre came to being on August 1973 and this year’s August 2023 is set aside to celebrate it across the globe.
M.anifest, known by birth name Kwame Ametepe Tsikata has already featured alongside A-Reece on Hennessy Cypher 2022 with the likes of MI Abaga, Octopizzo and Vector.
Being the only Ghanaian, a lot of spotlight has been shined on the output of M.anifest as puting out the best run in the group.
Ghana’s are already buzzing with the thought that another run is upon us this time which may feature the celebrated American Rapper, Nasir Jones.
