Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil has been honored and named as one of Genk’s top three players for the 2022–2023 football season.
The club’s final preseason friendly against Burnley of the English Premier League was preceded by an awards ceremony at the Cegeka Arena on Saturday.
After the game, he thanked the club on Twitter for recognizing his achievements.

His remarkable contributions to the team’s success were highlighted by an impressive record of 18 goals and 14 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions last season.
In addition to Joseph Paintsil, Mike Tresor Ndayishimiye and Patrik Hrosovsky also received the three prestigious awards at the ceremony.
