Legendary Ghanaian Rapper, Tic Tac has revealed he’s gradually seeing steps putting in place to bring sanity into the governance in Africa following Kenyan President William Ruto’s order to minimize the travel time for government officials abroad.
In a new order read on Friday, January 28, 2023 by the Kenyan Chief of Staff, Felix Koskei, the maximum days any government official can spend abroad within a year is 45 days and no official will be permitted to stay outside the country for more than seven days.
This decision is necessary due to the follow as read at the Parliament by Koskei and as quoted by NTV Kenya – “Unfortunately, this office has observed a less than optimal compliance standard, which has resulted in breach of some of the prescribed measures, numerous late requests, and consequently, difficulties in obtaining the prudence and cost effectiveness, objective originally anticipated.”

NTV Kenya went further to state that – “in addition to the restrictions on days spent out of the country, non-essential travel remains suspended and all travel requests copied to the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs for advisory”.
