The Ministry of Youth and Sports have on Monday, July 31, 2023 made public all payments made to former Black Stars Head Coach Charles Kwablan Akunnor following a disagreement on the amount paid to the gaffer since his dismissal from the post in October 2021.
According to the said publication which has been chanced on by kyfilla.com, the former Black Stars Coach is currently owed $220,000.

In the said publications four different transactions have been made since Akunnor exit from his role as the Black Stars Coach;
An initial payment of $54,054.06 was made on October 22, 2021 representing a cedi equivalent of GH¢ 318, 378.31.
On February 10, 2022 another $54,054.06 was paid to the former Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko and Ashantigold Sporting Club Coach.

A sum of $100,000 representing GH¢860,000.00 was also paid on January 12, 2023 and lastly an amount of $30,000.00 has been issued leaving a $220,000 as the remaining amount.

Background
The Minister of Youth and Sports in a media interaction declared a sum of $100,000.00 was paid to the former Black Stars Coach, Charles Kwablan Akunnor.
The issue did not sit well with the former Black Stars Captain, who also took to the media to debunk the news.
