The Board, Management and the Playing Body of Medeama Sporting Club on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 presented their 2022/2023 betPawa Premier league trophy to the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House.
Medeama Sporting Club beat competition from Aduana Stars and Bechem United to pick their first topflight league title to bring their trophy collection in the topflight to four.
Treble Winning Hasaacas Ladies Presents Trophies to GNPC Foundation
The Tarkwa-based side have secured two FA Cup trophies in the year 2013 and 2015, won the FA Super Cup in 2015 and added the league title in 2023.
Medeama Sporting Club will be representing Ghana in the Confederation of African Football Champions League where they’ll host Nigeria’s Remo Stars in the first round at the Cape Coast Stadium.
As part of garnering support ahead of the CAF Champions League, the Mauve and Yellows added the Jubilee House to their trophy presentations where they met the President of the Republic of Ghana.
In attendance were the top hierarchy of the team led by Hon. George Mireku Dukes, MP for Tarkwa, Dr Tony Auyben, Some Management Members ,and the playing body.
The team were well received by the President of the land.
