The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak has held a meeting with some key stakeholders of the club to update them on all current happenings within the club.
During the meeting the Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV and other Board members including Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe briefed the stakeholders on the important strategic direction of the club and other matters of interest which included player recruitment, Pobiman Sports Academy, New office building (Phobia House), update on the technical team, Auroras, Royal Oaks and Oaks FC.
They also advised the stakeholders to remain united, forge ahead and seek the common interest of the club by supporting the good initiatives introduced by the Board which will become the catalyst for guiding the club to win both local and continental laurels and subsequently gaining pre-eminence.
Members were also advised to desist from spreading any form of negative information on the club so not to dent the image and the brand Hearts of Oak.
The meeting also afforded the stakeholders the opportunity to express their opinion and seek clarification on matters of concern in the club. Former CEO, Nii Ayibonte, NCC Chairman, Elvis Herman Hesse and the AHOOOPA chairman, Evans Ayeequye all took turns to thank the Board for meeting them to provide an update on current happenings in the club and to bring all Phobians together to work in unity and for the common interest of the club as it prepares for the next football season.
The NCC chairman on behalf of all Phobians expressed their profound gratitude to the board and promised to work as a single body to support all activities of the club and not be seen as opposing initiatives of the club.
“We are most grateful for the opportunity presented to us to meet with the Board, and receive first hand updates on the club. Our promise is to fully support the Board on Its initiatives drive so we can all achieve our common interest which will inure to the overall benefit for the club” Elvis mentioned.
