Mavin Records star Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has broken legendary musician King Sunny Ade’s 41-year-old record as the Nigerian artist with the longest-running album in the US Billboard 200 chart’s history.
King Sunny Aid set this record in 1982, nearly 18 years before Rema was born, with his critically acclaimed Juju album Music.
Juju Music’s album spent 29 weeks on the Billboard 200 and was until recently surpassed by Rema’s debut album, Rave and Roses.
