Black Queens and former Berry Ladies FC player, Nina Norshie has shown her appreciation to Mrs Gifty Oware-Mensah, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Women’s Premier League side Berry ladies FC for her passionate and unwavering support to women footballers in the country and used the opportunity to send words of endorsement from her and on behalf of all former Berry Ladies players on her quest to contest for the Ghana Football Association Executive Council position.
Gifty Oware-Mensah who is seeking to represent Women Football at the highest decision making body of Ghana Football, the Executive Council filed her nomination on Thursday, August 9, at the GFA Secretariat and went ahead to launch her campaign is believed to be the choice of the people for slot on the GFA ExCo as representative for Women Football after going unopposed at the closed of nomination filing by participants which was Friday August 11, 2023 at 5pm.
