The Chief of Esiama in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region, Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III, who also doubles as a leading member of Access Bank Division One League side Nzema Kotoko has declared his support for incumbent Simon Ehomah to retain the seat to serve as Chairman of the Western Regional Association (WRFA) for a second term.
The Ghana Football Association announced on Monday, August 14, 2023 that two people has filed their nominations to contest for the Chairmanship position in the Western Regional Football Association.
Incumbent Simon Ehomah will square it off with the Chief Executive Officer of Division Two side Bis Paradise, Bismark Owusu Mensah on September 29, 2023 at the Wiawso College of Education, Sefwi Wiawso in the Western-North Region of Ghana.

Speaking to kyfilla.com, Nana Ainoo Kwagyan III, a Chief of Esiama believes Simon Ehomah has performed creditably well deserves a second term in office as Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association (WRFA).
“Simon Ehomah should be given a second chance because as we always say it is some one who has built a house before is the one who can promise of building you a house
“Whoever is coming will suffer, he Simon has been on the ground and understand the System now, now we are a doing a modern style of Football and Hon. Simon Ehomah understand it better ”
WRFA Chairmanship Seat : “ l will contest again for the seat “ – Simon Ehomah
“When you look at how in his first 4 years in office, the things he has done he should be given the opportunity to serve the good people of Western Region again”

“And I have hope in him that in the next four years with him as FA Boss , football in the Western Region will be transformed and that teams that qualifies from the Western Region to the Premier League will make a great impact.
Incumbent Simon Ehomah is tipped to retain the WRFA seat to serve for a second term in the next four years.
