In the build up to first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, Remo Stars SC captain has issued a caution to Medeama SC, who they face on Sunday. Nduka Junior, emphasizes importance of his team’s commitment to putting up their best show in order to get a good result against Medeama.
Nduka Junior emphasized that Remo Stars also have a history of winning championships, despite their rivals’ intimidating position as the current champions of Ghana. He reaffirmed the group’s commitment to giving the match’s two legs their best effort.

“We’ve learnt from our last early exit on the continent. We know they’re champions in Ghana, but we are also champions in our own right. We will definitely play our best football over two legs,” Junior emphasized.
Nduka Junior joined Remo Stars at the U17 level, and in November 2019, he was named captain, marking a crucial turning point in his time with the team.
In their matchup against Ghanaian team Medeama SC in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg, Remo Stars are hopeful of a good outcome.
On Sunday, August 20, 2023, Remo Stars will travel to the Cape Coast stadium to take on Medeama. Five days later, at the Remo Stars stadium in Ogun State Nigeria,the second leg will kick off.
