Cameroonian international, George Mfegue has likened newly signed Asante Kotoko Sporting Club center back to Liverpool’s skipper and Netherland international, Virgil Van Dijk.
Yussif Nurudeen, formerly with Real Tamale United completed a three year deal with the Porcupines few weeks ago and has already settled in with the squad.
The 30-year-old Center Back has caught the eye of George Mfegue who has likened him to Liverpool’s skipper.

George on new Kotoko defender, Yussif Nurudeen:
“He plays like Van Dijk. He has everything. Good in the air and on the ground physically and technically [He’s is good].
The prospect of no longer facing Nurudeen as an opponent brings Mfegue contentment:
“Sure [I’m happy he won’t be my opponent anymore]. I don’t like it when defenders push me and chase me with so many tackles so if he is in my team now, I am very happy about that”.
