Medeama Sporting Club’s forward Johnathan Sowah has earned his first call up to the senior national team ahead of Ghana’s final African Cup of Nation’s qualifier against Central African Republic.
Head Coach Chris Hughton has named a list of 25 players excluding injured Thomas Partey for the next international break and a fixture against CAR which a draw can see Ghana top its group.
The Medeama forward is on 12 goals in 22 appearances last term and scored the only goal as the Tarkwa-based side secured a 1-0 win against Remo Stars in the first leg of the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.
