On Wednesday, October 25, during the coroner’s inquest, the mother of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, revealed that her son had protected her from any possible damage caused by Mobhad’s former record label boss, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley.
She disclosed that not only Naira Marley but also his associate, Sam Larry, continuously harassed MohBad, claiming that the singer lived in fear.
“He always talked about it, and he was always shaking,” Abosede said. I begged him many times to let me talk to them, but he refused and said he didn’t want them to kill me.
“The last time he traveled for a show after he came back, he mentioned to me that Naira Marley came to attack him; he reported the case to the police, but I don’t know if the police invited him.”
