Black Stars Head Coach, Chris Hughton has named 25 man-squad for World Cup qualifier games against Madagascar and Comoros.
A total of 25 players have been given the nod to play in the qualifiers and the set up consists of 3 goalkeepers,4 defenders,6 midfielders,5 wingers and 3 forwards.
Black Stars Captain Andre Dede Ayew who is now without a club has been handed a call-up for Ghana’s upcoming matches against Madagascar and Comoros after missing out on the games against Central African Republic and Liberia in September as well as the friendlies against Mexico and USA.
Arsenal Midfielder Thomas Partey and Mohammed Salisu could not make the squad due to injury.
Other notable returnees to the team is Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori who lost his position after picking up a series of injuries before the last edition of the FIFA World Cup,Majeed Ashimeru,Baba Iddrisu who missed out on the World cup due to injury and Kamaldeen Sulemana and Kasim Nuhu Adams who has been absent from the team for over 5 years.
Rayo Vallecano’s Abdul Mumin is the only new player to receive a call up after recent splendid performances in the La Liga.
Medeama duo Fatawu Hamidu and Jonathan Sowah are the only local players called to the team after receiving their debuts last two months.

The Black Stars will start their World Cup qualifying campaign against Madagascar in Kumasi on November 17, with an away clash against Comoros set for four days later.
