Tanzanian giant Simba Sporting Club have share spoils with Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko in a preseason friendly.
The Porcupine Warriors hold the Msimbadzi Reds to a 1:1 draw in the crucial encounter at the Uhuru Stadium in Daar es Saalam, Tanzania.
Obed Owusu had the opener for Kotoko in the encounter but coach Patrick Aussems team managed to get the equalizer through sensational Emmanuel Okwi.
The Mainlands champions as part of celebrating their annual ‘Simba day’ anniversary invited the Porcupine Warriors for the friendly encounter.
Coach Patrick Aussems is currently preparing his team for the upcoming league season and believes Asante Kotoko gave them a good challenge.
