Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies, will be awarded a prize of $200,000 after booking their place in the semi-finals of the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The WAFU B champions guaranteed their position in the tournament’s next round after winning 3-1 on Sunday against Huracanes Football Club from Equatorial Guinea.
With this progression, Ampem Darkoa will receive a significant prize of $200,000 in their first-ever participation in the competition.
As the competition progresses, Ampem Darkoa stand a chance of earning more financial benefits.For instance, if they make it to the final, they will at least receive a $250,000 total cash prize.They would get a cash prize of $400,000 in addition to the coveted trophy if they were to win the competition.
On Wednesday, November 15, Ampem Darkoa Ladies will take on Sporting Club Casablanca in the semi-finals in an attempt to advance to the final two.
