Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus, has picked up a back injury per multiple reports from Comoros.
After complaining of a back injury, Mohammed Kudus didn’t train with the Black Stars yesterday due to a back injury. He was scheduled for a late fitness test to determine whether he plays against Comoros or not.
Kudus sustained an injury, according to Kwabena Yeboah, who is with the team in Comoros, and he is not expected to play in tomorrow’s World Cup Qualifiers in Moroni.
Kudus started for Ghana in the first 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar last Thursday when Ghana clinched a 1-0 victory.
Already,Daniel Amartey has made the injury list after sustaining an injury in the first qualifying game against Madagascar.He failed a late fitness test despites travelling with the team to Moroni.
Ghana will play against Comoros today at 4pm.
A win for Ghana against Comoros sends Ghana on top in GroupI.
