Simba Sporting Club dazzling defender Asante Kwasi has affirmed that Kumasi Asante Kotoko astonished the entire Tanzanians yesterday during their preseason encounter.
According to the former Lipuli FC defender, the entire Tanzanians were expecting Simba SC to have triumph over Asante Kotoko with ease but they were surprised with the performance Kotoko displayed yesterday.
The Porcupine Warriors held coach Patrick Aussems’ team to a 1:1 at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
But speaking to www.kyfilla.com, Kwasi expounded that Kotoko gave them a tough challenge during the titanic encounter.
“The game went well even though we didn’t win as expected. Our supporters were expecting win but we only drew.”
“They have a good team but we were happy for the tough challenge as we prepare for the new season”, he added.
