CAF launched the new program to raise the caliber of goalkeeping coaching across the continent. The course will run until Saturday, December 9, 2023. It started on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
The curriculum was created to improve the technical skills of the teachers and develop leadership qualities so that they can instruct the next generation of goalkeepers in their home nations.
Recognizing the critical role that goalkeepers play in the success of any football team, the initiative aims to raise the bar for goalkeeping instruction throughout Africa.
The course will cover a wide range of topics, such as injury prevention, contemporary coaching methodologies, advanced goalkeeping techniques, and the psychological aspects of goalkeeping.
In order to apply the knowledge they have learned in real-world situations, participants will also participate in theoretical and practical sessions.
