The Black Queens of Ghana have arrived in Ghana this afternoon after qualifying to the Women’s African Cup Of Nations 2024.
On Tuesday December 5, at the Wits Sports Complex in Bloemfontein, Johannesburg the Black Queens had their first defeat under Nota Hauptle in 11 games in a 1-0 scoreline. However, they were able to qualify for the competition with a 3-2 aggregate having defeated Namibia in the first leg 3-1.
The Women’s African Cup Of Nations qualification will go down in history as it is the first in four years for the senior women’s team.
The Black Queens will look forward to give a good account of themselves in the WAFCON 2024 which will be hosted in Morocco as they will go toe to toe with football powerhouses in Africa.
